Crystal Schneiders's Profile

Most of you that know me know that I am very competitive and love to play sports.  Well this summer, I am excited to be participating in Run for Pathway, an initiative to help support Pathway Caring for Children’s mission to care for children throughout Northeastern Ohio. On June 17th, I will be running with the Pathway Sole Sisters as part of the Canton Marathon’s inaugural races! My team is a group of five of us that work together and we are going to rule the asphalt!  As part of the run, I will be running the third leg of 2.8 miles and by doing so I am raising money in support of Pathway Caring for Children’s work to supply funds that will change the lives of children living in foster and adoptive homes.

Pathway’s mission is to empower children and families to realize their potential and achieve the possibilities of their lives through innovative mental health, foster care, and adoption services.

I am asking you to come on board and support my campaign, along with Pathway’s mission. My goal for the campaign is to raise $250.00. With your help, I can reach this goal.

Join me in supporting Pathway Caring for Children’s work – you can be confident that your donation will help make a lasting difference in the life of a child. Will you please help me achieve my financial and personal goals for this race?  Together we can "Pay It Foward" and help a child in need.

With Warm Regards,

Crystal Schneiders

WHY IS THE CANTON MARATHON A SPECIAL RACE FOR YOU?

This is a special race for me because I love to be a part of something new.  This is the first year for the Canton Marathon and I am excited to be a part of a great team of girls that I work with, to raise money for the kids we work with on a daily basis.

WHAT MADE YOU SIGN UP TO RUN FOR PATHWAY?

Pathway decided that we are all going to get healthy, so as part of that initiative we got two seperate marathon teams together and will be there on race day!  Nothing like a little office competition to get you motivated.

WHAT IS ON YOUR IPOD WHEN YOU ARE TRAINING?

My music ranges from rap, to rock to slow songs.  But on race day it will most likely be very upbeat and hard rock songs to keep me going!

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS?

I have no advice, because I am new to running.  My advice would probably be that if you see me laying on the ground keep going so at least one of us will finish! Joking aside, I believe this is going to be a great event and we are excited at Pathway to be doing it together as a team!!
