Christine Lile's Profile

This summer, I am excited to be participating in Run for Pathway, an initiative to help support Pathway Caring for Children’s mission to care for children throughout Northeastern Ohio. On June 17, 2011, I will be running with the Run for Pathway team in Canton, Ohio, as part of the Canton Marathon’s inaugural races! As part of the run, I am raising money in support of Pathway Caring for Children’s work – funds that will change the lives of children living in foster and adoptive homes.

Pathway’s mission is to empower children and families to realize their potential and achieve the possibilities of their lives through innovative mental health, foster care, and adoption services.

I am asking you to come on board and support my campaign, along with Pathway’s mission. My goal for the campaign is to raise $1,500. With your help, I can reach this goal.

Join me in supporting Pathway Caring for Children’s work – you can be confident that your donation will help make a lasting difference in the life of a child.

Many thanks for your support,

Christine Lile

WHY IS THE CANTON MARATHON A SPECIAL RACE FOR YOU?

I want to prove to myself that this is a goal I can obtain! That if I can run 13.1 I then I can move on to the longer, harder races. This is just the beginning for me!

WHAT MADE YOU SIGN UP TO RUN FOR PATHWAY?

II've grown up hearing about Pathway because my cousin Deb works there. I have heard great stories of what it has done in children's lives and the amazing things that Pathway does to reach out, help and encourage these kids. I wanted a way to give back for all they have done! I wanted to make a difference!

WHAT IS ON YOUR IPOD WHEN YOU ARE TRAINING?

Lots of Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley.....I'm a sucker for country! Upbeat songs are always a must as well!

DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS?

When you feel like you want to give up...DON'T....just think about the amazing feeling you will have when you cross that finish line!

Donation Goal: $1500.00
